Growing up in Delaware, Brandon is no stranger to community issues and lives in Bear with his spouse, Katie. Brandon graduated from Glasgow High School in 1999 and attended the University of Delaware, Goldey-Beacom College, and Delaware State University.

As a veteran of the Delaware Army National Guard, Brandon enlisted the day after his 17th birthday, attending Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, SC between his Junior and Senior year of High School. Serving in the 287th Army Band, Brandon was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, and Army Achievement Medal.

Brandon is an active community leader, working with community organizations, non-profits, fire departments, and the Delaware democratic party.
